Build Apper apps inside Claude​

Connect Apper to Claude, describe the app you want in plain English, and keep building it directly from your Claude conversation.

Apper can create your app, show you a working preview, and make changes whenever you ask.

Connect Apper to Claude​

Apper can be added to Claude as a custom connector.

  • Open Claude → Customize → Connectors.
  • Click + → Add custom connector.
  • Enter the Apper MCP server URL above.
  • Add the connector, then click Connect.
  • Sign in to your Apper account and approve the connection.
  • Start a conversation and enable Apper from the + → Connectors menu.
  • Tell Claude what you want to build.

On Team and Enterprise accounts, an organization owner may need to add or approve the connector before members can use it.

Start building​

You don't need to know the MCP commands or tool names. Just describe what you want Claude to do.

For example:

  • "Build a CRM for managing leads, contacts, and deals."
  • "Create a to-do app with categories and due dates."
  • "Show me a preview of my app."
  • "Add a dark mode option."
  • "Add a dashboard showing monthly sales."
  • "Connect this app to a real database."
  • "Show me my Apper apps."

Claude automatically selects the appropriate Apper tools based on your request.

Updating an existing app​

You can also continue working on an app you already created.

For example:

  • "Open my CRM app and add a reports page."
  • "Change the dashboard design."
  • "Add a new field to contacts."
  • "Fix the mobile layout."
  • "Show me the latest preview."

Claude finds the relevant Apper app and makes the requested changes.

Troubleshooting​

I can't see Apper in my conversation​

Open the + → Connectors menu and make sure Apper is enabled.

Also check that you completed the Apper sign-in process.

Claude asks me to reconnect​

Go to Customize → Connectors, find Apper, and connect it again.

I can't add a custom connector​

If you're using a Team or Enterprise account, your organization owner may need to add the connector first.

My app is still building​

Claude can check its current status. Simply ask:

"Check the status of my Apper app."
